The CMVES team proudly unveiled their new look website, brochure and promotional materials at an awards ceremony that honours businesses that actively recruit and train former military service men and women.
Friday 26th June 2015 was an evening of firsts. It was the very first North West Armed Forces Business Awards and the first time the College of Military Veterans and Emergency Services (CMVES) showed off our new brand, website, brochure and promotional items.
The CMVES (or the College as our clients like to call us), provides information, help and advice to military veterans and ex-service personnel who are making the move from their uniformed service to civilian life.
The North West Armed Forces Business Awards honours the contribution businesses within the region make to the Armed Forces community. To be eligible, organisations must demonstrate their support by signing the Corporate Covenant and implementing good business practices. They must also employ at least one member of the Armed Forces Community (Reservist, Cadet Instructor, Veteran or Serving Spouse/Partner) and actively communicate a positive ethos to their employees.
As an organisation committed to helping military veterans find education, employment and training opportunities within civilian organisations, the awards ceremony, held at the Imperial War Museum North, provided the perfect backdrop to show everyone our new brand.
We wanted a brand that showed our strong commitment to all three British armed forces and the emergency services. It was also important that it appealed to veterans of all ages and reflected the 3Es: Education, Employment and Empowerment.
The brand was designed and implemented for us by UCLan’s Innovation Lab.
