CMVES launch their new website

23rd June 2015

The College of Military Veterans and Emergency Services (CMVES) is delighted to announce the launch of its brand new and fully responsive website www.cmves.org.uk.

The website was officially launched at the Imperial War Museum North on Friday 26th June 2015 to mark the beginning of Armed Forces Day 2015.

The launch of the website is a significant milestone in CMVES’s history and will help promote its services to a much wider audience.

The website is fully responsive so it will work across a range of mobile devices, something the CMVES felt was extremely important in making sure potential clients of the service could access their information no matter where they were.

The College for Military Veterans and Emergency Services (CMVES) was established to help and advise in-service and ex-service military service personnel, as well as those in the emergency services, make a smooth transition from uniformed service into civilian life.

The CMVES, known affectionately as ‘the College’ to everyone who has benefitted from its services, help military veterans and emergency services personnel take their career in a new direction. They help people identify courses, training opportunities, apprenticeships and appropriate qualifications. They also help their clients find a job or start their own business.

The families of ex-service personnel are not forgotten, as CMVES provides family support and welfare advice in addition to all its other services.

You can read the testimonies of people the CMVES has helped here.
